Fin5 Day 5 (12/07/2014)

Another good day, it was tough and very hot. But very disappointed with the second control... No point going around, even less point since I did such a mess of it, should have stayed on the road much longer to start with. All in all I should just have gone straight, lost an estimated 2,5min here. The guy starting 2min after me punched the second controll just after me, he on the other hand made a massive mistake on the 7th and was gone after that. I'm also unsure about the 13th control, maybe should have just gone straight there too and taken a climb at the end, and if that is true then this was indeed a disappointing course with only straight on rout choices... 13th overall 49min behind. If I'd avoided the biggest msitakes and bad route choises a top 10 would have been no problem at all. So final conclusion, it was a good week, I'm getting stronger, have hopefully gained some climbing strenght for the Swiss O Week that starts in less than a week. That if something is going to be a challenge :)
